As of January 31, 2018, the American Express Features on the UP4 will be discontinued. For security purposes, your American Express card will be automatically disconnected from your UP4 on February 1, 2018. From this date, you will no longer be able to make payments at contactless payment terminals.
For users who wish to disconnect their Amex card before February 1, 2018, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to the Payments section of the UP App
2. From there, Tap "Manage" located directly below the image of your Connected American Express Card
3. Finally, tap "Disconnect"
Please note that all tracking features such as sleep, steps and heart rate will remain functional. The only feature that will not be available as of February 1, 2018 will be the American Express Payment feature.
